Wachirawit Kindergarten organized the ‘Planting on Mother’s Day, Harvesting on Father’s Day’ activity.
The Kindergarten Department of Wachirawit Chiang Mai School organized the ‘Planting on Mother’s Day, Harvesting on Father’s Day’ activity on 4 December 2025.
The opening ceremony was graciously presided over by Mr. Worathat Boonkhod, School Director, together with the school administration, for the year 2025.
The objectives of the ‘Planting on Mother’s Day, Harvesting on Father’s Day’ activity are as follows:
- To enable students to learn the process of rice planting and harvesting.
- To help students recognize the value of rice and develop an awareness of its importance.
- To encourage students to practice teamwork and cooperation in completing tasks successfully.
This activity began with rice planting during Mother’s Day in August and was carefully nurtured by Kindergarten 3 students. As a result, the children were able to observe the entire growth process—from soil preparation and seedling planting to the harvesting stage when the rice plants reached full maturity
