They will be technologically proficient, globally oriented, able to collaborate effectively with others, and live happily in society.
Fundamental Policies of Wachirawit Chiangmai School Developent
To ensure the school’s development aligns with its objectives toward excellence, six key development policies have been established as follows: Wachirawit Chiang Mai School Development Policies
- Academic Development The curriculum is continuously revised and developed to align with government policies and future-oriented thinking. Teachers are encouraged to participate in academic seminars and training, both internally and through external organizations. Internal supervision is provided, and teachers are given opportunities to visit other schools for academic observation, as well as to further their studies in relevant fields. These efforts aim to improve teaching quality and effectiveness.
- Personnel Development Staff are encouraged to develop themselves academically. Monthly knowledge-sharing sessions are held during staff meetings. Teachers are trained to use technology in teaching and to enhance teamwork. Welfare systems and morale-boosting initiatives are implemented to improve work satisfaction and loyalty (LOYALTY) to the institution.
- Student Affairs and Activities Development Student activities are enhanced by expanding clubs and community groups based on student interests. Emphasis is placed on discipline, leadership development through knowledge, morality, and activities that enhance students’ potential. Students are encouraged to be responsible for themselves, their school, society, the environment, and the nation. The school also promotes the student council, teamwork, cultural appreciation, health and wellness through sports, and social services both inside and outside school. Learning is extended through field trips, academic camps, meditation retreats, and other enrichment programs.
- Public Relations and Community Services Development
- The school supports the activities of the Parent-Teacher Association and establishes an alumni network to foster mutual understanding among the school, students, parents, alumni, and the wider community.
- Organize regular parent-teacher meetings to collaboratively address student issues.
- Encourage students to participate in community and provincial events when appropriate.
- Promote student engagement in community service. Participate in national, religious, and local celebrations.

- Finance, Administration, and Facility Development The school employs technology systems to manage financial and administrative data. Scholarships are allocated to students. In addition to classrooms, the school provides science labs, computer labs, various specialized rooms, and sports facilities. The environment is continuously improved to be pleasant and conducive to learning
- Research Development A research and academic development committee is established to produce high-quality research outcomes, including classroom research and performance evaluation studies for continuous improvement

The Emblem
The school emblem consists of two concentric circles. The inner circle has a diameter of 3.5 cm, and the outer circle has a diameter of 4.5 cm. Between the two circles is the school’s name in Thai: “โรงเรียนวชิรวิทย์ เชียงใหม่,” along with the school’s abbreviation “ว.ช.ม.” and its location, also in Thai Inside the inner circle, the emblem features a shield, an open book, and a Dok Chaiyapruek (Cassia Fistula) garland. These symbols are accompanied by the school’s motto:
“Good Discipline, Academic Excellence, and Happiness.“
- Shield Represents protection and defense from harm. It symbolizes the school’s role as a shield that safeguards students, enabling them to live safely in the world.
- BookRepresents subjects, knowledge, and sources of information. The school serves as a center of learning, providing students with knowledge that keeps them informed and up to date with the world.
